The messages are the game.
RPGirc’s public introduction now puts the way you play at the center: an ongoing tabletop adventure through messages, without needing everyone online together.
The updated introduction is live on RPGirc’s web welcome and sign-in screens. A human GM and players make the decisions and tell the story. RPGirc provides the shared space to keep that adventure moving.
Notification preferences and delivery controls are deployed, helping players choose which campaign activity needs their attention.
The web app includes preferences by campaign and activity type. Physical-device and native delivery verification remain separate acceptance work; this update does not announce a native store release.
Catch Up, scene context, action requests, and turn history give a returning player useful ways to reconnect with their campaign.
The continuity release brings campaign context and outstanding actions together with Catch Up checkpoints. The aim is practical: help players find their place after time away, while keeping the original messages and decisions accessible.
